Ordinary Courage by Donna Mulhearn

(from Katie:)
Exciting news – my friend Donna’s book ‘Ordinary Courage’ was launched last week in Glebe! It’s a memoir of her time in Iraq as a human shield in 2003, published by Pier 9 – Turning Page will order it in if you request it. Of course, I can highly recommend it! (although to be honest I have only read the manuscript – starting the published version this wk…)
Also, there’s talk of a ‘literary arvo tea’ at Cafe Razz later in March with Donna speaking about the book, answering questions etc. I’ll keep you posted – hopefully a date will be confirmed before the next meeting.
Keep an eye out for it, order it in or by all means borrow my copy (although if you buy one I’ll endeavour to get it signed for you!)
cheers, Katie
