Max Tivoli/Benjamin Button

Standard

Cradling my new nephew who looks sooooo like his daddy, I began to tell
my sister about The Confessions of Max Tivoli by Andrew Sean Greer. CAtherine may remember me banging on about how wonderful it was a couple of years ago. Karen said how it sounded like the new film Brad Pitt is in, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button and she sent me this link: When old is new again for Brad Pitt

So how come people weren’t up in arms when The Confessions of Max Tivoli came out? “The Confessions of Max Tivoli, which was named a best book of 2004 by the San Francisco Chronicle and the Chicago Tribune while garnering several other coast-to-coast honors.” (Wikipedia entry for Andrew Sean Greer)

I’m confused now.

Here’s a link so you can read Fitzgerald’s short story : The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button
