Translations

I’ve blogged about this in Readers in the Mist, the library blog, but thought it worth highlighting here. Translator Daniel Hahn is blogging about how he translates a book. Reading the first few entries is absolutely fascinating. I’ve often wondered how it’s done and how much we can rely on a translation to give us the true feel for what is written in the original.

Hahn’s blog can be read here.
